Operation
OVGU sees sustainability as one of the guiding principles of its operations. Due to its function as a role model for society, it considers itself obliged to handle resources in a particularly careful and efficient manner. The avoidance of negative local and global environmental impacts and the reduction of resulting risks are of central importance in university operations.
The goal is to develop the university's own operations into a sustainable organisation in accordance with the sustainability strategy and to incorporate the findings from the areas of research and teaching into the university's operations.
