Operation

The OVGU understands sustainability as one of its guiding principles. Due to its role as a social role model, it feels obligated to use resources particularly sparingly and efficiently. Avoiding negative local and global environmental impacts and reducing the resulting risks are of central importance to the university's operations.

The aim is to develop the university's own operations into a sustainable organization in accordance with the sustainability strategy and to incorporate the findings from research and teaching into the university's operations.
