Research
OVGU supports public discourse with its research on aspects of sustainability. By creating scientific knowledge, OVGU contributes in its application-oriented disciplines to the description and implementation of sustainable development and related societal changes. In addition to disciplinary, trans- and interdisciplinary research approaches also play important roles in solving societal challenges.
The aim of sustainability in research is to support scientists in their research on aspects of sustainability, to establish a sustainability link to research content and to design research processes in a sustainable way. The Sustainability Office offers content-related support for this on request.
