Tasks

The Green Office is the central contact point for all matters relating to sustainability at Otto von Guericke University. The tasks of the Green Office include:

Implementation of the sustainability strategy

•     Proposal and initiation of measures
•     Supporting OVGU members, committees and initiatives with projects
•     Acquisition of funding

Networking internal and external stakeholders

•     Participation in regional, national and international initiatives
•     Support for sustainability events
•     Advice on project applications/start-ups

Information and reporting on sustainability processes

•     Development of instruments for monitoring/ evaluation

Climate protection management

• Development of an integrated climate protection concept
• Energy and greenhouse gas balancing
• Initiation of measures, organization and stabilization of climate protection
