In 2018, OVGU committed itself to more sustainability in all areas of the university. This self-commitment in the form of the sustainability strategy forms the basis for establishing the processes for controling and regulating, which are necessary for the implementation.
The sustainability office of OVGU pushes the implementation of the sustainability strategy and partly manages the implementation of the sustainability goals across the university's departments and supports individuals, communities, as well as the university management in achieving more sustainability.
